Terms of Service for Feito

Welcome to Feito ("we," "our," or "us"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our service that connects Slack and Notion (the "Service"). By installing or using our Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, do not use the Service.

1. Description of the Service

Feito is a bot and integration service that allows users to synchronize and manage content between their Slack workspace and their Notion account. The Service uses artificial intelligence to interpret conversation history and propose updates to linked Notion documents.

2. User Accounts and Authorization

To use the Service, you must authorize Feito to access your Slack workspace and your Notion account via their respective OAuth2 flows. You grant us permission to:

• Access Slack Data: Read messages from channels the bot is invited to, view basic user and channel information, post messages, and manage bookmarks. We only access the minimum data necessary to provide the Service.
• Access Notion Data: Read, update, and insert content into the specific Notion pages you explicitly grant access to during the Notion authorization process. We cannot and will not access any pages you have not authorized.

You are responsible for managing the permissions you grant to the Service and for the security of your Slack and Notion accounts.

3. Your Content

You retain full ownership of all the content, data, and information you submit to the Service, including your Slack messages and Notion documents ("Your Content").

By using the Service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, host, process, and transmit Your Content solely for the purpose of providing, maintaining, and improving the Service. For example, we must send your conversation transcripts to a third-party AI provider (such as Google Gemini) to generate document updates. We do not use Your Content for any other purpose.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Violate any applicable laws or regulations.
• Infringe on the intellectual property rights of others.
• Transmit any material that is abusive, harassing, defamatory, or obscene.
• Transmit viruses, malware, or any other malicious code.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or otherwise disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service.

5. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT ANY WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR COMPLETELY SECURE.

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, FEITO, ITS AFFILIATES, AND ITS PERSONNEL SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM (A) YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE; (B) ANY UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS TO OR USE OF OUR SERVERS AND/OR ANY PERSONAL INFORMATION STORED THEREIN; (C) ANY BUGS, VIRUSES, OR THE LIKE THAT MAY BE TRANSMITTED TO OR THROUGH OUR SERVICE BY ANY THIRD PARTY.

6. Termination

You can stop using the Service at any time by uninstalling the Feito app from your Slack workspace. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause or notice, for any reason, including for a violation of these Terms.

7. Changes to these Terms

We may modify these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will provide you with notice, such as by sending a notification through the Service or by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.

8. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of Brazil, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
